  • Memorial Day Office Closure

    The Office of the Bishop will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, 2016. The office will reopen, and staff will return to the office on Tuesday, May 31, 2016.   • Bishop's Sabbatical Updates

    by The Episcopal Diocese of Northern California The Office of the Bishop continues to prepare for Bishop Beisner's twelve-week sabbatical that begins on May 2nd. Please read the following important reminders and protocols for this time when the bishop will be away. Members of the Office of the Bishop staff will continue to be available for meetings and inquiries during this sabbatical time.

    The Office of the Bishop is pleased to announce that on May 26th Jacqi McKinney joined our staff as the new Administrative Assistant to the Canon to the Ordinary! Jacqi is originally from Orange County, California and moved to San Francisco in 2004 to complete her BA in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University. She also has a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from San Jose State University.

    Dear Friends in Christ, Grace and peace to you, as we enter a new Season together. Pentecost comes again, and with it a renewed emphasis on the reality that we have been given power to live, ever more completely, into that fullness of life that Easter taught us about. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we are now able to participate more fully in the life of God, and grow in the beauty of holiness.
