  • EfM Mentor Training in August

    by Sally Rooney, Coordinator, Education for Ministry, Episcopal Diocese of Northern California Education for Ministry (EfM) is a unique four-year distance learning certificate program in theological education based upon small-group study and practice. Seminar groups work under the leadership of mentors who contract to serve as guides and administrators. An EfM Mentor Training is scheduled for August 3-5, 2016 at Mercy Retreat Center in Auburn.

  • Prayer Books at Mercy Center Auburn

    by Jerry Pare, Operations Manager, Trinity Cathedral, Sacramento Mercy Retreat Center in Auburn recently received 40 copies of The Book of Common Prayer, pew edition. Because of a lack of storage space, the books are stored in a closet rather than in the Chapel. When planning your event, please contact Robin Lionello or another Mercy Center staff member, and let them know that you would like to use the books and they can be made available.

  • 2012 Catechumenate Institute

    The Episcopal Diocese of Northern California Christian Formation Commission will host “Making Disciples: An Institute for Catechumenate Leaders” May 10-12, 2012 at Mercy Center, Auburn. The three-day institute is designed to provide answers to what the catechumenate is, as well as how the catechumenate can be implemented in congregations. It is designed to respond to questions raised by those ministering in small and large, rural and urban congregations.
