New Communication Support Agent

The Office of the Bishop welcomes Elsa Dooling to our staff as the new Communication Support Agent!

Elsa will be responsible for the Online News Room on the diocesan website, the diocesan electronic newsletters and providing support for diocesan events.

Elsa comes to us with a rich and diverse background with a strong concentration in nonprofit administration, communications, business management, community organizing, writing and teaching. Additionally, she is a freelance communications consultant, writer and editor.

She is a graduate of North Carolina State University, located in Raleigh, where she earned a B.S. in English with a minor in Biology. Additionally, she earned a A.A. degree with a focus in science and math, from Saint Mary's College, a historic Episcopal women's college in Raleigh.

As a lifelong Episcopalian, Elsa was baptized, confirmed and raised in The Episcopal Church in North Carolina. She was a very active member in her local congregation and served as an acolyte and lay reader for many years.
