Ministry Development Grant Deadline

Ministry Development Grant Deadline

by the Congregational Vitalization Committee

Last year the Board of Directors of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California allocated $200,000 in 2013 to fund the expansion of existing and/or creation of new opportunities for ministry development, consistent with the diocesan mission to “make disciples, raise up saints and transform communities for Christ.” The maximum award per congregation is limited to $20,000. The Board of Directors authorized the Congregational Vitalization Committee to award the grants subject to the oversight of the Bishop.

The Congregation Vitalization Committee is pleased to announce that it has received grant requests from 21 congregations totaling over $260,000. In light of this great response, the Committee has now set a deadline for the receipt of materials. To be considered, all grant applications must be received by the Office of the Bishop no later than the close of business on March 15, 2013. Requests should be sent to:

The Congregational Vitalization Committee
c/o Office of the Bishop
