    Dear Friends in Christ, Once again it is my duty and privilege to invite you to the observance of a holy Lent. As we continue to make our on-going journey from glory to glory together, this Season now comes as an important invitation to a renewed intentionality about nurturing and deepening our spiritual life. Basically, that means a consecrated time, time set apart, and dedicated to the work of deepening our relationship with God.   • Seeking Bible Challenge Volunteer

We have close to 300 people currently signed up, and we expect closer to 2,000 by the kick-off on Epiphany Sunday, January 6, 2013. We are overjoyed with this wonderful response from our diocese and this response provides a wonderful ministry opportunity.

  • Staffing Transitions

    Jenifer Campo, executive assistant to Bishop Barry Beisner for the past six years, has accepted a position with Principal Funds, an asset management company in El Dorado Hills, where she will provide support to the director of marketing. While she is excited about this new step in her personal journey, she will miss her many friends and colleagues in our diocese. Jenifer's last day at the Office of the Bishop will be September 4th.
