St. John’s Episcopal Church in Roseville has scheduled a second community concert in their 2014 series, and you are invited!

The Sacramento Valley Concert Choir will perform at St. John’s on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The concert theme “Happy Together” features both rock and pop songs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. “This musical performance will emphasize choral interpretations with some theatrics added. Costumes, as well as appropriate props, will be included,” reports Pam Jacobsen, program chairperson for the choir.

When: Friday, May 16th; 7:00 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Reminder: seating is limited. 

The Sacramento Valley Concert Choir is directed by Jim Parr, Jr., with pianist Jason Sia. They have both been part of the choir for over eight years. Other local musicians are also involved in the concert presentation.

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with open seating. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. There will be an intermission, featuring light refreshments, at the conclusion of the “Happy Together” portion of the evening. Attendees will then be invited to stay for a community sing-along following the intermission. 

All are invited! This is a fun, “Happy Together” event for families, neighbors and you.
