The Center for Bible Study and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Antelope are presenting a one-day "Conference on Reconciliation" on Saturday, October 3, 2105 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The keynote address will be given by Dr. Charles Tieszen of the Fuller Theological Seminary, who will present “Christian Encounters with Islam.” This will be followed by case studies from the Bible on Reconciliation

Dr. Charles Tieszen, Ph.D (University of Birmingham) has written and researched extensively on the history of Christian-Islamic relations. He recently published A Textual History of Christian-Muslim Relations: Seventh to Fifteenth Centuries (Fortress Press, 2015) and is also author of Christian Identity Amid Islam in Medieval Spain (2013). He teaches at Fuller Theological Seminary, Sacramento Campus. He will be joined by several students and faculty members from Fuller Seminary who will introduce the Bible studies on Reconciliation.
