The Rev. Canon Andrea McMillin comes to us from the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia where she has served as Vicar at Christ Church in Blaine, Washington. She is also on the staff of the diocesan College for Congregational Development and a member of the Congregation Consultant's Network. In those roles, Andrea has worked with teams from congregations exploring and learning about ways to increase congregational vitality and leadership capacity. She has also served on the Diocesan Council, Grants Committee, Evangelism Commission and as Dispatch of Business for Convention. Andrea graduated from Yale Divinity School in 1994, and served in the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas at Trinity Cathedral before moving to Bellingham, Washington in 2000.
Andrea and her husband, Scott Stockburger, M.D., have been married for 21 years and have two daughters, Sophia (age 16) and Clara (age 11).
