A Christmas Message From the Bishop

A Christmas Message From the Bishop

Dear Friends in Christ,

Grace and peace to you, as once again we come to Christmas. Once again, we are invited to the stable and to the manger.

We, who are moved by the plight of Syrian refugees, troubled by the rising tide of violence in our homeland, concerned about the health of our planet or find this a time of struggle or loss, see that God has already reached out to us, as we reach out to God for help. God is with us.

Once again, we are brought to the threshold of God’s new work in this weary world to meet the Christ, and to remember that our God is a God who comes to help us in times of need. We are God's partners in the wonderful new thing that God is doing to make the world well.

May that reality bring strength, comfort, joy and hope to you in this Holy Season, and in the New Year.

God bless you,

+Barry
