28th Annual Diocesan Choir Festival

All singers are invited to join us at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Sacramento on Saturday, February 7, 2015 for the 28th Annual Diocesan Choir Festival. This is a great opportunity for singers from around the state to gather for a day of music making, culminating with a Choral Evensong service (open to the public) that begins at 4:00 p.m. Rehearsal begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Everyone who loves to sing great church music is invited to sing in the festival choir. Bring your choir robe (if you have one), your music, a pencil and a choir folder. Rehearsal begins promptly at 9:00 am, and the day concludes with Choral Evensong at 4:00 pm. The cost for this event is $20.00, which includes lunch.

Our guest conductor this year is Dr. Jeffrey Benson, Director of Choral Activities at CSU San Jose and Director of Music at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in San Carlos. Jeffrey is a superb musician and promises an enjoyable day for all!
